One of my biggest interests, aside from photography, is the town of Centralia, Pennsylvania. Also known as The Real Silent Hill! It is located about 1.5 hours from my house. I visit it often and really love the area. Long story short, the town has a mine fire that has been burning under it since the 1960's. A little about me:
My name is Rick, I'm 30, and I currently live in West Chester, Chester County, PA. I've been taking photos as far back as I can remember. I've taken Photography classes back in High School, but most of my knowledge has been from real world experience. I am currently obtaining my Bachelors of Photography from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. I also work 40 hours a week.
Equipment:
My digital work is shot with a Nikon D2x. Currently I have the following lenses: Tamron 17-55 2.8, 50mm 1.8, 70-300mm 4.5-5.6 VR II, misc filters, DAKINE Sequence backpack, Manfrotto 055X Pro tripod & Manfrotto 486RC2 ball head, Bogen 3231 Monopod, Alienbees B1600 with umbrella and stand, Nikon Speedlight SB-600 flash with diffuser, reflectors. My film work is shot with a Canon AE1 and a multitude of lenses.

I've been published in a wide range of media outlets (CNN, CNN.com, WPVI Channel 6, NBC 10, The Philadelphia Inquirer, The Intelligencer, The Record, The Globe, The Daily Local, etc), a couple calendars, a Fire Fighter Training Manual, Quadratec Jeep Essentials catalog and website, among other places digitally and in print.

I have experience with varying types of Photography as you can see from my photos. If you have something specific you'd like that's not related to any type of photos I have posted, just drop me a line and we'll work something out.
I'm currently shooting paid assignments. My rates are reasonable. Please contact me for information. I will accept TFP/TFCD assignments on a limited basis.
